Description:
This is a seasoning for your
favorite condiment!
Contains: Spices
including cinnamon, onion, malic acid, spice extractive, and less than 2%
silicon dioxide added to prevent caking.
Ketchup: Chop
and cook 8 quarts of tomatoes until soft. Strain through sieve,
pressing through as much pulp as possible. Return pulp to pan.
Add 5 1/2 tablespoons ketchup spice, 2 tablespoons salt, 1 cup sugar, 2
cups cider vinegar. Cook until thick or reduced by half.
Yield 6-7 pints.
Other hints:
Add a small amount to baked beans for added flavor.
An excellent addition to cocktail sauce.
Add some to your meat loaf for added zing.
