Mulling Spice Recipes      (Scroll to view all)

Spiced Apple Cider
1/2 gallon sweet apple cider
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Spice Barn Mulling Spice
orange slices
4" Spice Barn Cinnamon Sticks

Combine cider and sugar in large pan, stirring to combine.  Stir in mulling spice.  Simmer ingredients for at least 15 minutes.  Strain.  Serve garnished with orange slices and a cinnamon stick stirrer.

Hot Spiced Wine
2 bottles red wine
2 cups apple juice
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons Spice Barn Mulling Spice

Bring all ingredients to a boil in Dutch oven; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.  Strain into pitcher, discarding spices.  Serve hot
